The Gourmet’s firebox is large and super responsive with both top and bottom air controls. Being located directly below the cooktop gives you excellent hotplate temperatures and the higher position of the firebox makes loading of fuel a breeze… no bending down!
Most commonly placed in the lounge, dining or family room as a space heater, the Thermalux Gourmet Cooker can also be sited in the kitchen as your main cooker. The unique venting system of this slow combustion wood heater and stove makes for easy control of oven temperatures with the oven coming standard with oven rack and tray and featuring a self-cleaning glass door.
The Thermalux Gourmet Cooker and slow combustion heater is available in seven standard colours: charcoal, metallic black, metallic blue, golden fire brown, moss green, mojave red and sand surf and is finished with a crisp, clean chrome trim and optional splash back.
The Gourmet is also available in a central heating model – Gourmet CD - with a boiler output of approximately 15kw - more than enough to heat the average three bedroom home.
